1. Activate OS2L in Lightjams
Go in the view/configuration menu.
Go in the Link/OS2L tab.
Check the OS2L 'Enabled' box.
Received OS2L commands are then routed to the OSC input - see the OSC input panel and monitor for more info.
2. Activate OS2L in VirtualDJ
Go in the options.
Check yes for os2l.
Set os2lDirectIp to the Lightjams computer's ip address (or 127.0.0.1 if the same computer) and port. For example, 127.0.0.1:9666.
After this setup is done VirtualDJ will attempt to connect to Lightjams the first time it needs to send a OS2L command.
3. Create a lightshow per track
Open a track from the VirtualDJ Browser with the POI Editor (right-click option)
Select "New" from the left side window and then move the Cue Marker to the position you want a Scene to be triggered.
Select the option "Action" from the Type drop-down list.
Type a os2l_ action in the Macro Action box.
The supported commands are os2l_button and os2l_cmd. These commands are received as OSC messages in Lightjams and can be used to control everything that can be controlled via OSC, which is about anything.
See more details about editing in VirtualDJ.
4. Play
Close the POI Editor. When the track is playing on a deck each time the track reaches the Action POI, the selected scene from the os2l_action will be triggered.
